Vegan Coffee & Banana Cacao Shake
A delicious pick-me-up, this vegan milkshake is a refreshing way to welcome in the summer months.The maca powder adds a light, malty flavour to complement the coffee and cacao perfectly.
Ingredients:1 Lyons No.3 Rich & Full-Bodied Coffee Bag
100ml boiled water
300ml almond milk
2 tsp cacao powder (unsweetened)
1 tsp maca powder
2-3 tsp agave syrup (or other plant-based sweetener)
- Pour the freshly boiled water into a measuring jug, then add the Lyons Coffee Bag and stir. Leave to cool, gently squashing the bags every now and then.
- Remove the bag after 3-4 minutes, give it a final squeeze, then discard. Once cooled to room temperature, the coffee can be chilled to use later or used straight away.
- Add the cooled coffee and all the remaining ingredients into a blender and blitz for one minute, until everything is blended.
- Pour into a glass and sprinkle on a little extra cacao or maca powder before serving.
