Want to jazz up your morning meal? This delicious mango smoothie bowl is a super-quick dish that will make breakfast that much more exciting! Recipe created by Lucy Burton on behalf of Nature's Finest.

Mango Smoothie Bowl Recipe: Veggie

Ingredients:

1 x 400g pot Nature’s Finest Mango
1 banana, peeled and sliced
1 lime, juice
honey

For the toppings:

a mixture of peeled and diced kiwi, raspberries, blueberries, pomegranate seeds, coconut flakes, chia seeds, cocoa nibs, bee pollen, etc

method:

  • Drain the mango, retaining the juice. Place the mango and banana in a blender, and blitz until smooth, adding as much mango liquid as you need to achieve a silky smoothie -like consistency.
  • Taste, then add a squeeze of lime or a spoonful of honey to taste, to add sharpness or sweetness as needed.
  • Divide between two bowls (at this stage, you can place one portion in a sealed container in the fridge and save it for the next day if you wish). Top with your choice of toppings and serve.
