Banana, Honey and Nutmeg Smoothie Recipe: Veggie

Ingredients:

2 ripe bananas, in chunks
2 tbsp clear honey
150g Greek-style 0% fat natural yoghurt
300ml semi-skimmed milk
25g oatmeal.
whole nutmeg, for grating

method:

  • Blend the banana, honey, yogurt, milk and oatmeal.
  • Add 4 ice cubes and blend until smooth.
  • To serve, divide between 2 tumblers and grate a little nutmeg on top of each.
  • Or to make a berry smoothie, add 125g of strawberries or raspberries to the mixture (leave the nutmeg out).
